To ensure optimal performance, we recommend using Class 6 or faster SD cards (up to 128GB capacity) and 4 x 1.5V AA batteries in your SUNTEKCAM trail camera. (A 32GB SD card is included in the package, but the batteries are not.) Before use, please remember to format the memory card.

The external power adapter voltage is 6V; using a higher voltage adapter will damage the card. The camera's switch has three modes: OFF (for battery and SD card installation), TEST (for adjusting settings and previewing recordings), and ON (which disables the screen and buttons, allowing the camera to enter its working mode).

Q1: Why can't the camera be used at night? A1: Ensure you're using high-quality, fresh batteries. Low battery output voltage can prevent proper night-time operation.

Q2: Why is the detection distance different from the advertised range? A2: The detection distance is affected by the camera's placement angle. We recommend positioning it at a higher vantage point to maximize the range.

Q3: Why doesn't the USB cable charge the camera? A3: The USB cable is for connecting to a computer to view and transfer files, not for charging.

Q4: Why are there so few photos captured? A4: Adjust the camera's sensitivity setting to "High" for optimal performance.
